Colin also needs safe access to the heater, the pool equipment and the gas-supply area. If he cannot reach the equipment safely during a repair visit, the service call may still be charged and a return visit set.
Away for the season? Say so before you book, so access, approval and payment are agreed first. Do not assume a visit can go ahead with nobody home.
- Approval. Extra work needs your approval in writing or by text, so give a number that gets texts.
- The price. After a paid repair assessment, you get a total-price quote, good for 15 days from the date it is issued. No repair or installation work starts until you approve it.
- Payment. Payment is due before Colin leaves, unless you agreed on something else in advance. Settle that when you book.
