Diagnosis and repair
For a heater that is not operating as expected, the next step may be a diagnosis and, where appropriate, a repair recommendation.
Natural gas and propane pool heaters
No ignition, short cycling, a heater that runs without warming the water, and an unexpected display message can point in more than one direction. Manufacturer troubleshooting guides walk through multiple operating and safety checks. A symptom can guide the visit; it does not confirm a failed part or its cause.

When replacement is the better direction, the discussion starts with the existing equipment, the site, and the pool or spa’s heating needs.
A new or replacement gas heater has to fit the equipment area and applicable requirements. Fuel-line, regulator, shutoff, and supply-capacity questions belong with gas services.
A gas heater operates as part of a pool system. The service conversation can include the reported heater condition, water circulation, controls, and visible equipment-pad context. Where a question reaches the gas supply or infrastructure, it should be evaluated as gas-service work rather than assumed from the heater symptom.
Only when there is no suspected gas, carbon-monoxide, smoke, or fire danger, note the heater make and model if already visible, any display message, when the problem occurs, and whether pool or spa heat is selected. From a normal standing position, an exterior photo, display photo, wide equipment-pad photo, or already-visible label can help describe the situation. Do not remove panels, bypass safety devices, or attempt fuel-system work.
Safety comes first
Describe what the heater is doing and any safe observations you have. The request starts a review; the equipment and conditions found determine the next step.
Clear answers
Suncoast Pool Solutions accepts service requests for natural-gas and propane pool heaters.
A no-ignition message gives the evaluation a place to begin. Manufacturer diagnostic material evaluates multiple conditions before a cause is determined.
Those symptoms can have more than one explanation. The reported behavior helps frame an assessment.
Gas-line, regulator, shutoff, and fuel-capacity questions belong with gas services. A heater symptom alone cannot identify a gas-infrastructure issue.
